The Gaye Holud or Turmeric Ceremony is an important pre-wedding event in Bengali weddings where both the bride and groom are smeared with turmeric paste. It's a festive event, often marked by bright and vibrant colors.

You are encouraged to wear bright, festive colors. Yellow, orange, pink, red, green, or even purple. It's best to avoid black and white, as these are generally not seen as festive colors.
