Sonia and Kyle met on the dating website Plenty of Fish. They first matched in December of 2012, but it was not until January of 2013 when they had their first date at the Pint House in Orange. Sonia thought it would be a good idea if she scared Kyle by sneaking up on him for their first face to face meeting, safe to say this tactic payed off. After the first date, they continued to see each other for a couple of weeks until Kyle asked Sonia to be his girlfriend! Shortly after, Kyle moved from Mission Viejo to Vista after getting hired at VIASAT. He asked Sonia if she would be willing to move in with him one day and she happily said yes. After a year of driving back and forth from Vista and Orange, Sonia moved in with Kyle where she went back to school to pursue her degree and teaching credential. Kyle proposed to Sonia on December 11th 2015. Four long years later, they are finally getting hitched!
