Life is full of unknowns and miracles. Our love story began 697 days, almost two years ago, in Cabo, Mexico. We were reunited as long-time friends and committed to our romantic relationship on November 22, 2022. However, our story started far earlier.  We were born and grew up in two different continents and countries, Mexico and Korea. Then we made a big life decision. We took a long and adventurous life journey and moved to the United States in the small town of Bloomington, Indiana. That was 24 years ago. There, we met in July 2008 as colleagues. We connected over 12,000 km between the two countries. Then, Sonia moved to Lafayette, Indiana, in 2012 and later moved to California. We were apart for ten years until we reunited in November 2022. Our destiny to be together led us to overcome a long time and distance. Over the past two years, we made many happy memories together, but more importantly, we have been learning how to love and care for each other. There may be some challenges ahead in our lives, but we wish to continue to overcome the challenges and build our love story as a husband and wife. We are grateful to have support from our beautiful children, Luis, Sophie, and Solon. Our children will always be the central part of our family life journey. In our journey, we can’t imagine our lives without family and friends. We love you so much and want you to know how important each of you is to us. We hope to continue to create many more shared happy moments together moving forward.  We pray for God to give us strength, knowledge, and wisdom. Sonia & Choonhyun 우리의 카보 사랑 우리의 운명은 함께하는 것입니다. 신께 감사드립니다! 인생은 미지의 것과 기적으로 가득 차 있습니다. 우리의 사랑 이야기는 697일, 거의 2년 전 멕시코 카보에서 시작되었습니다. 우리는 오랜 친구로 재회했고 2022년 11월 22일에 연인 관계를 맺었습니다. 그러나 우리의 이야기는 훨씬 더 일찍 시작되었습니다. 우리는 멕시코와 한국이라는 두 개의 다른 대륙과 나라에서 태어나고 자랐습니다. 그런 어느날 우리는 큰 삶의 결정을 내렸습니다. 우리는 비슷한 시기에 길고 모험적인 삶의 여정을 떠나 미국 인디애나주 블루밍턴의 작은 마을로 이민했습니다. 그 때가 24년 전이었습니다. 그곳에서 우리는 2008년 7월에 동료로 만났습니다. 우리는 12,000km 이상 떨어진 두 나라를 건너 만나게 된 것 입니다. 그 후 소냐는 2012년에 인디애나주 라파예트로 이사했고 나중에 캘리포니아로 이사했습니다. 우리는 2022년 11월에 재회할 때까지 10년 동안 떨어져 있었습니다. 우리의 운명은 긴 시간과 거리를 극복하고 삶을 함께 할 수 있는 기회를 주었습니다. 지난 2년 동안 우리는 함께 많은 행복한 추억을 만들었지만, 무엇보다 중요한 것은 서로를 사랑하고 돌보는 법을 배웠다는 것입니다. 앞으로 여러 가지 어려움이 있을 수 있지만, 계속해서 어려움을 극복하고 남편과 아내로서 우리들의 사랑 이야기를 만들어 가고 싶습니다. 저희는 무엇보다 소중한 아이들인 Luis, Sophie, Solon의 축복을 받는 것에 대해 참으로 감사하게 생각합니다. 우리 아이들은 장래의 우리 삶에 여전히 중요한 부분을 차지할 것입니다. 인생 여정에서 가족과 친구 없이는 우리의 삶을 상상할 수 없습니다. 우리는 여러분을 너무나 사랑하고 여러분 각자가 우리에게 얼마나 중요한지 알려드리고 싶습니다. 앞으로도 더 많은 행복한 순간들을 여러분들과 함께 만들고 싶습니다. 하나님께서 저희에게 힘과 지식, 지혜를 주시기를 기도합니다. 소냐와 춘현 올림
