We're getting married!

Life has a funny way of bringing couples together, which rings true for Arturs and Sonia. Their parents tried to set them up, and little did they know that they were totally on point. They eventually started dating a couple of years later, while Arturs was exiled in Montreal. Love quickly found its way into their hearts. Then came the era of long-distance. Many calls, adventures, and trips later, Sonia and Arturs moved in together in DC and, after more than eight years together, are happily getting married!

Picture this—a magical, mysterious and beautiful 16th-century castle in the middle of France's Champagne countryside. The sun is starting to set, and golden hour is kicking in. With the pretense of taking some lovely family pictures, Arturs took Sonia to the castle's footsteps. Arturs was hiding a special little red box and, just like that, found himself on one knee asking, "Will you marry me?". "Yes" came out even before he finished asking; Sonia just knew. The tears, the shakes, the family hugs, the kisses, the love, and the champagne that came after were unforgettable!
