We met running track & field and lifting in the weight room at Ludlow High School. How shocking?! In the beginning when we didn’t have cars yet, we would run to each other’s houses just to see each other. Then realizing we still have to run back. We would go to the YMCA together most mornings before going to work at Whitney summer camp. Where we flirted our way through one of our first jobs together making $8 an hour and loving every second of it. We started dating in 2014 and all through college at UMASS Amherst, where we both studied for our degrees in Math/Econ and Kinesiology. While at UMASS, we still didn’t have our cars but we always wanted to celebrate each anniversary off campus to make it more special than eating at the dinning halls. Which lead us to taking the PVTA busses to the closest restaurants. This is funny to look back on because we had to time our dates around the PVTA bus schedules and wait at bus stops just to go on dates. We did finally get cars, don’t worry! We moved out on our own in 2019, where we rented our first home in Ludlow. We made some of the best memories here and learned a lot about being on our own. Before we knew it, we grew into adults, together. We decided it was time to buy something of our own, so we bought a condo in Ludlow, while we got through all 9 actuarial exams and graduate school to become an occupational therapist. We have been living together for 5 years now and the best part about it is, the joy of coming home to your person every single day. We have been dating a total of 9 years before officially getting engaged on October 12th, 2023, on top of a gorgeous mountain in Zion National Park, Utah. Now here we are, finally, getting married on a beautiful beach on September 7th, 2024. It’ll be 10 years together this year on 6/5/24. Each chapter in life we have done together. All our first big moments and struggles have been by each other’s side. The best part about our journey is that we have done most of our lives together already and chose each other every single day since teenagers, making forever seem easy.
