Nido
Situated in the Loren Hotel, the Nido Rooftop has excellent views of downtown. Be sure to book a reservation for their patio to watch the sunset. Its not reallty worth it to eat inside, enjoy that view!
Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail
Its quite a long walk to do the whole thing, but you can enter at many different points. We like to walk with Lucy on the boardwalk area.

Rockin South Austin Since 1955! If you want to listen to some live music, this is a great place to discover something new. There are usually two shows per night, so try to arrive towards the early side of either time. There are plenty of places nearby to go before/after too.

Family friendly + spacious brewery. You can often catch live music on their outdoor stage. They have tons of patio tables and food trucks.

Franklin Barbecue
Award winning Austin BBQ. This place is also famous for long lines, so unless you are willing to wait hours, this is an order in advance kind of spot. If you preorder, you can completely skip the line and get the same BBQ, the catch is you need to order a 5 pound minimum. This can work for groups.
