We met at the University of Portsmouth a few weeks before graduating. Sonam courageously asked Oliver out for a drink or two and Oliver suggested The Slug and Lettice (classy!). We soon realised that we had a strong connection. Sonam instantly liked Oliver's red fiery hair, pheromones (manly musk) and broad shoulders. Oliver found Sonam's genuine personality, naivety to rude jokes and smoky eyes irresistible... though he thought Sonam's fashion sense was ghastly hehe!

Oliver proposed on 1st February 2020 on a quiet spot on Bournemouth beach. He attempted to distract Sonam by pointing to some cliffs in the distance while he got out the ring. However, Sonam found the cliffs infinitely more interesting than he first anticipated and wouldn't look back. When she eventually looked back at the ring she said yes! However, Sonam is still slightly begrudged by the fact that she had intended to propose to Oliver, who has now stolen her limelight.
