We're getting married!

When Sonali first moved to Chicago after college, a coworker-turned-dear-friend invited her to hang out after work on her high school friend’s boat — that friend just so happened to be Josh! The two became friends, but as life would have it, they lost touch over the years. Sonali moved to New York City for a new job while Josh resided in Chicago. It wasn’t until nearly seven years later, at that same mutual friend’s wedding, that fate stepped in and brought them back together. What started as a chance reunion turned into keeping in touch across two cities, which eventually turned into a relationship. It's still surreal (and very on brand) that what began as a serendipitous meeting on a boat all those years ago is now leading them to tie the knot together.
