It was a cold, rainy Wednesday night, and Sonal was cozied up with her all-time favorite movie, The Holiday—secretly wishing for a love story just as magical. She opened Bumble, the modern-day matchmaker in app form. A few speedy left swipes later, she landed on Mike: 6’3”, handsome, and very swipe-right-worthy. Without hesitation, the match made! From there, the texts flew back and forth nonstop for weeks. There was just one tiny complication… Sonal already had booked a solo Eat, Pray, Love trip to Cabo, Mexico. Mike wasn’t about to let her slip away without meeting face-to-face. So, their very first date? At a senior citizen event at Pinstripes in the suburbs (yes, you read that right). The date was nothing but smiles and easy conversation. Then, mid-taco in Cabo, Sonal realized something: adventures are great, but tacos (and life) are just better when shared.
