Best Man
Alvin was one of my first friends I made at Virginia Tech. My first impression of him was the guy with the hair obsessed with Scott Pilgrim whereas I'm sure his first impression of me is "the asian kid I stalked on facebook a few months ago just snapped a giraffe's neck". After he got out of "jail", he essentially became my 5th roommate who never wore pants. I'm glad that he's still in my life after all this time; I need someone to make me look good.
Maid of Honor
We kinda met in middle school... grew through our rivalry for having the highest GPA while being athletes in high school (sure, keep blaming that B+ in orchestra), and somehow managed to stay roommates throughout college without killing each other. PS: I still won the bet friend, so where is my all expense paid date?
Groomsman
Eugene was my very first friend at Diamond Bar High and is probably the friend I will consistently bring up around other people. He's smart, kind, needed someone to grab a new pair of pants for him because he soiled himself during class, travelled to visit me in Virginia without any shoes on... He's been a dependable "I bet he's down" friend for me for over 10 years for late night jack in the box runs and impromptu desert rides.
Bridesmaid
Only the sweetest and most dependable person I have ever met. Need a break? You took me out to go play. Food budget low? You took me to the finest restaurants and never made me pay. Have no clue how chemistry works? Studied with me for hours and lent me your notes/textbooks. I honestly have no clue where I would be without you.
Groomsman
Ryan is a loyal friend who I had to drag out during high school to hang out under the guise that he was "at practice". As one of my less degenerate friends, it's been a pastime to ask him what he thinks some slang means that can only be answered on urban dictionary. As we've grown up, he's been a great go-to for crying over how much housing costs and why his taste in anime is garbage.
Bridesmaid
I feel like when we were younger, we did not like each other... but distance makes the heart grow fonder. Somehow we spend more time with each other doing more things we actually enjoy as adults. Even if that includes venting about how incredibly busy our school lives are. I am really glad we became better friends as we got older and I look forward to more fun adventures once you are successfully Dr. Green!
Groomswoman
Michaella was the only other person willing to sit through Scott Pilgrim because Alvin wanted to when we first met. She was always down to escort me to D2 to get late night food at Virginia Tech even though her dorm was the furthest away. She was always the king of the apartment for all 3 years we lived together (evidenced in the photo) hailed as the mighty BDM. I'm glad she's still in my life willing to answer my random questions that is not appropriate for this website.
Bridesman
You are the best friend I know I will never lose. Through the rough patches and strange times, our friendship continued to last! I am so thankful you were my 1st little in college and that even after leaving VT we were able to rekindle that friendship. I love that we still have weekly movie nights (even if they have turned into anime afternoons because we are too old to stay up). Traditions never die and the fun times will never end! Let's have another fat day soon :)
Officiant
Justin is a large part of the reason I had fun in high school and a potential answer to "who was your high school bully". Through ups and downs, we have always managed to stay good friends bonding over all things nerdy. I blame him for my previous addiction to MTG and current addiction to board games. He's been there for me since walking home after summer school to eat pizza and watch friends to eating KBBQ and watching the latest super hero movie. So not much has changed. He's here because he is an online ordained minister since we were 18.
