In November 2020, Grace and Caleb matched on a dating app called Bumble. After many weeks of texting about everything from their favorite Disney World attractions to their most embarrassing childhood memories, FaceTiming into the early hours of the morning, and sharing photos of their pets, the two decided to plan a virtual date in the new year. Later, their first in-person date went so well that Caleb asked Grace to be his girlfriend by the end of the evening. A week later, she met his family; six weeks after that, Caleb met hers, and six months after that, the pair packed up their lives (and Grace's cat) to move from Westerville, Ohio to Orlando, Florida together. After settling in their apartment, they realized they were missing just one thing--a dog. Granger turned out to be the perfect addition to their lives, and has brought even more joy and love into their relationship. Caleb's proposal just had to include Granger! Caleb and Grace have grown together so much in the two and a half years prior to their engagement, and they will continue to do so. Caleb teaches eighth-grade English alongside some of his incredible friends, while Grace works in medical school admissions for the UCF College of Medicine. Caleb cheered Grace on (and cooked countless dinners for her) as she completed her Masters degree during the second year of their relationship. Their greatest dream is to buy a home and to start a family. For now, they now spend their free time theme park-hopping, reading, and going to the dog park! They are thrilled to celebrate their upcoming wedding with their closest friends and family in Ohio, where the majority of both of their families reside.
