Tara and Anthony met in Physics at San Clemente High School in 2013. It was the cheesy story of a boy asking a girl for a pencil and she ended up giving him her only one. Being focused on school, they didn’t start dating until they saw each other at their friend's graduation party the following summer. It wasn’t long after that that Anthony asked Tara to be his girlfriend on August 28, 2013. Throughout their lives, Tara always dreamed of a supportive and everlasting relationship, and Anthony prayed for a best friend that would eventually become his high school sweetheart. On December 18, 2013, Anthony told Tara that he loved her for the very first time. After many ups & downs, countless adventures, associates degrees, bachelor degrees, multiple job opportunities, and nearly 6 years together, Anthony asked Tara to spend the rest of her life with him on August 11, 2019.
