After exchanging vows in this magnificent setting, we’ll whisk you away to a reception just a short five minute drive away. We kindly ask that you dress to impress in your finest formal attire, ready to shine alongside us. While we cherish your little ones, this evening is designed for adults only, so we can fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the moment. If you are arriving on Friday, when your plane lands get yourself out of LAX and into traffic as quickly as possible. There isn’t much public transit in Los Angeles, but Uber + Lyft are accessible from anywhere. Option 1: Walk or take the bus to LAX-It to grab a cab or Uber Option 2: Splurge on a black car to pick you up curbside using Uber or Lyft Option 3: Beg a loved one to prove their allegiance by picking you up themselves Here are a few of our fave cafes in the downtown LA area: BOTTEGA LOUIE Amazing casual spot for any time of day. If you are arriving a few days before or staying a few days after — LUCKY YOU! Los Angeles has so much to see and do. Make sure to download Google Maps to check traffic and stick to one area for the day to maximize your time. Here are some ideas: UNVERSIAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD You will be here during Halloween Horror nights which is an exceptional time to see Hogwarts and the studio where Jaws was shot in their full glory. A day pass will run you ~120 and you should reserve your ticket soon if you plan to do it! BEACHES There are several amazing beaches in Los Angeles. Santa Monica and Will Rodgers are our personal favorites. If you are feeling ritzy head down to Manhattan Beach for a day in the sun and dinner at Fishing with Dynamite. MUSEUMS The Los Angeles County Museum of Art in Mid City is a perennial favorite of ours and always has great exhibits, with a ton of really cute shops and restaurants right around the corner. You can even pop into Erewhon for a $30 smoothie! The Getty Museum is also worth a look and can be found north towards Malibu. For free, you can ride a tram up into the mountains for beautiful views and an even more beautiful art collection.
