We Finally Found Each Other!

Sommer had just passed her certification test to work at Wafflehouse and her new boss wanted to know if she would cover the weekend overnight shifts at the Williamson Road store (NOT the store she was hired for). The weekends at the Williamson Rd Wafflehouse are insanely busy, NOT the best place for a server fresh out of training. So, Sommer showed up that Friday night for her shift, nervous and ready to make money. She overheard someone say one of the cooks was running late because of traffic. About 15 minutes past 9 a man walks in wearing a Wafflehouse uniform and a scowl, storms right past where Sommer is sitting, barely glancing at her. Then he stopped and smiled, ACTUALLY smiled, and in that moment Sommer fell in love. Clint spent those two weekend shifts that they worked together flirting and wooing, and Sunday morning after a long shift, he played the smoothest line Sommer had heard to date. She was sitting next to him counting her tickets and realized she was missing a couple, so she said "I'm missing some of my ticket numbers". Clint slid his phone over in front of her and said "I found the numbers you're missing" and up on the screen was his phone number.

The first date was watching Jurassic World, which wasn't exactly Sommer's idea of fun. But when Clint kissed her for the first time...it never mattered where the date was or what they did. They became officially a couple on June 28th, 2018.

Surprise, surprise! Sommer found out there was going to be a new Hamilton in early September. So she met up with Clint at Wafflehouse as he was getting off work to tell him the good news! She put an empty hamburger bun in a to go container and underneath she wrote "2 cups love, 4 tablespoons patience, a dash of sleeplessness. Combine and bake at 98.6 for 9 months. Surprise!" Baby Gabe was due to join us on this journey May 19th, 2018 ❤
