Our first date was at a Bruins game which was Somer's idea. We met outside the HubHall to start the night and as became our tradition, ever since the date lasted much longer than expected so Somer would always miss the last train. She also lost her phone so I had to call her an uber and spent the rest of the night wondering if I would ever see or hear from her again...spoiler alert I did!

We took a trip to Narraganset, RI for a beach weekend with friends. I was not sure if this was going to be the right spot but came prepared just in case. Luckily my propensity for always packing multiple sweaters aided in hiding it all without raising any suspicion. As soon as we walked into our room and all the mini appliances were her favorite shade of blue, so I knew it was right spot. After a day at the beach and a wonderful dinner, we walked back to our room and as she crossed the threshold and I got down on one knee...
