Best Man
We've shared good times, bad times, too much booze, too many laughs, and a bunk bed. I know this guy like the back of my knee.
Matron of Honor
Amanda is Joe’s sister and soon she will be mine as well (woo hoo!). I met Amanda for the first time as a guest at her wedding and immediately knew that I would like to have her in my life (and that my life would be more organized with her in it). Amanda is driven, creative, thoughtful, and always there when you need her.
Groom
For a week in college he wouldn't let us walk to class in the morning without first watching Taylor Swift music videos. I hate him, but he is something of a mentor to me.
Bridesmaid
Allison, aka A-Lo Booty, has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. Growing up we always wore matching outfits and once she even peed my pants during a scary wagon ride. Allison is comforting, understanding, and can always make my day brighter. Also, our flower girl is Allison’s daughter, Audrey, who has her mom’s personality (and then some).
Groom
I had to pick him up one time because he ran out of gas... four blocks from home. I love him like a dog loves peanut butter.
Bridesmaid
Josie is not only a cousin but also a great friend. She is compassionate, adventurous, an animal lover, and always a joy to be around. Josie studied abroad in Ireland and lives in one of my favorite cities, Santa Cruz. From letting me take over her Tinder account to babysitting my fur child, I am blessed to have Josie in my life and for all the smiles she brings.
Groom
One of the smartest men I've ever met. I think he told Elon Musk how to shoot rockets to the moon or something.
Bridesmaid
At six months old, Madeleine was the first cousin I saw when I moved back from Hawaii, when she and Aunt Laurie showed up at the airport to welcome us home. She is always the life of the party (look for her on the dance floor) and time spent with Madeleine is going to be fun. From our yearly Disneyland trips to various music festivals, Madeleine is my joy-seeking kindred spirit.
Groom
Blood is thicker than water, and he should know 'cause he has a pig valve in his heart. He should've figured out by now its bad news letting me join his family.
Bridesmaid
From my perspective, Lauren was always the "grown up" figure of all the cousins (except she was way shorter than the rest of us). After my major surgery in 2013, Lauren came to see me at UCLA and treated me to a spa day. She is extremely caring, thoughtful, and can always put a smile on your face. Not only is she in my wedding, but she also served as flower girl for my parents and her son is my ring bearer. We have put her to good use.
Bridesmaid
Taylor is my only female cousin on the Solomon side of the family. Constantly sweet, always lovable, and an avid reader... but don't let her quiet nature fool you, she's crashed a wedding or two.
