Maggie and Solomon were both proud Pius XI athletes. They first met as a result of the countless summer hours spent practicing in the high school’s field house. During one of Solomon’s sophomore year summer football practices, he held the door open for a freshman Maggie headed to Pom's practice. Solomon knew Maggie was special from that very moment. Two years later, Solomon finally connected with Maggie on Snapchat. However, it wasn’t until the school’s religious retreat, Kairos, that the couple was given the chance to truly get to know each other. Following Kairos, Maggie and Solomon were inseparable and officially started dating in March of 2015. Their first date was simple - Dyer Field, good conversation, Reese’s Miniature Cups!

Following Pius graduation in 2015, Sol attended St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. While Sol was away at SNC and Maggie was finishing her time at Pius, Sol always made it home for Maggie’s dances and special events. Maggie and Sol were determined to make their relationship a priority during this year which made weekend visits and holiday breaks that much sweeter. Maggie’s trips to SNC were particularly special. As her love for Sol grew, so did her love for SNC. In the fall of 2016, Maggie joined Sol at SNC where she joined the cheerleading team. The time Maggie and Sol spent together at SNC was filled with laughter, fun dates, binging lots of TV shows, nights out with friends who became family, and most importantly, love! Sol graduated in 2019 and Maggie graduated in 2020. Maggie and Sol made De Pere home and love creating new memories with their dogs, Bentley and Kip!
