We connected through an online dating application called Hinge. After a few weeks of texting, we decided to go out on our first date. We went for pizza and wine prior to road tripping it out to Saginaw, MI for a country music concert. After singing and dancing the night away, what sealed the deal was Andrew had purchased a second pizza at dinner. He knew that we would be stuck in traffic after the concert, and was prepared to share this pizza with me while we waited. It was love at first bite!

We were enjoying time off at our family friend's lake house for the week. Andrew mentioned wanting to make dinner for my family and me. After I got dressed, we proceeded to walk up to the kitchen to start the cooking. As we were walking, Andrew was telling me all of the things that he appreciated about us and our relationship. Before I had time to grasp what was happening, Andrew was down on one knee. I pretty much blacked out and forgot to say "YES" before jumping into his arms. Andrew asked again for good measure, and I shouted "YES, OF COURSE!" We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
