It was a typical day of doing what we love. Visiting an all-year round halloween store, eating prime rib from Lawry's and going to the Comedy Store for some laughs. At the end of the night, we ended up at Pasadena City Hall because (according to Edgar) there was a great ice cream shop in that area. Our search led us to strolling through city hall, waited for the security guards and random photographer to leave the center of the hall, and together approached the array of rose petals and candles lying on the floor in the shape of a heart. Liz assumed it was a memorial for someone who had passed away until noticing that on the second floor, there was a person recording the events. She realized that someone was being proposed to and immediately exclaimed to Edgar, "Let's go! We're ruining someone's proposal!" At that point, Edgar gets on his knee and Liz could not believe that in fact there was a proposal occurring and that it was hers. This could not have been accomplished without two of our closest friends, Blake & Eileen Trinidad. Thank you for helping Edgar make such a memorable night. We often replay our proposal video and can't help, but shed a tear. It was perfect!

If Liz would not have made a Facebook account to play FarmVille, Edgar would have never crossed paths with her account. Their exchange went a little like this: he said something funny, she said something witty and then a friendship transpired. A huge thank you to Facebook and friends for connecting two odd souls that would not have met without you.
