FAQs

Question

Where and when is the wedding taking place?

Answer

17-18 October 2025, in Chania, Crete (Greece).

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RVSP by 1 March 2025.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For those guests coming to the Friday morning synagogue ceremony, we would kindly ask you to dress modestly as this is a house of worship. For those guests joining the Saturday evening party, we would recommend 'boho chic' attire to fit the rustic setting of the venue. Please note that parts of the floor of the venue are exposed earth and may be uneven, so comfortable footwear might be easier to dance in.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, you can find our registry at: XXXXXXX

Question

Can I bring additional people with me?

Answer

As much as we would love to have more people celebrate with us, we are only able to invite a limited number of people due to the venue's capacity regulations. We would therefore ask only those we expressly invite to join us, and request you to not bring any additional people.

Question

I have a dietary requirement, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our dinner reception will be buffet-style with plenty of meat and plant-based options for different dietary requirements.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the wedding venues?

Answer

The Friday morning ceremony is located at the heart of the Old Town in Chania, which is easily walkable. For the Saturday night party, we will be arranging private bus transfers for our guests between Chania and Gramvoussa Restaurant, which is approximately 40 km to the west of Chania. We will give you more information about transport options closer to the date.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It's pretty mild at this time of year, but it's a good idea to bring along a jumper or light jacket for the evenings. The average daily maximum is 23 C and the average daily minimum is 17 C. Mostly sunny, with infrequent showers in the second half of October.
