Katie had just got off of work at Pig In A Poke, and she went to the "stage" parking lot to hang out with her friends. No longer than her being there for 5 minutes, a black lifted truck pulls in. Her buddy, Ben, told her to go up to this black truck and ask the guy inside if he drove a modified. Well, needless to say, she did... and here we are! The rest is history!

It was early in the morning on September 5th, 2020, opening day of bow season in KY! Katie was ready to kill a big buck, but chase had others plans (and Katie had NO IDEA). She was getting aggravated with him for taking SO long to get ready that morning, she even pouted the whole way to the farm in Johnson County. When they got to the farm, they got out, got their bows and stuff ready to rumble! Chase asked Katie if they could go look at the new trail camera he put up by the pond yesterday... well.... Katie told him she would just go ahead and start heading to her tree stand, and he could go check to see if it got any pictures. Chase finally convinced her to come with him (she was not too happy about it, LOL). Katie had no idea what was about to happen but it would change her whole life (and her last name). As they started walking towards the center of the pond, Chase kept looking back at her a lot, and she began to wonder where this trail camera was? All of a sudden, Chase stopped and started heavy breathing, that's when Katie knew something was up. He looked at her with a nervous look and asked her to read the letter beside the deer antler and rose that was laying on the ground. Katie read the letter and that's when Chase started to get down on one knee. She kinda blacked out and didn't even hear him ask because she was crying and couldn't believe this was happening! All she remembers is saying, "YES! oh my goodness, YES!" sealed with a big kiss and hug. Chase planned everything out himself, and Katie had absolutely NO idea that when she got to the farm that morning, she would be leaving the farm as Future Mrs.Soler!
