Flight
Our out of town guests have the option to fly into Nicaragua from hubs such as Miami, San Salvador, Panama City and Mexico City. Another option is to fly into Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, Costa Rica where one can easily catch transportation to the border with Nicaragua where transportation to Granada or Managua can be arranged.
Travel Note
When traveling to Nicaragua, either by air or by land, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire of your basic information by the airline three days before the day of your flight. This is imperative before entering the country. A full Covid-19 vaccination scheme is required to enter as well. If you have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 then you must present a negative PCR- RT test that is no more than 72 hours older than the time of arrival in Nicaragua. It is important to note, that health authorities WILL NOT under circumstances accept rapid tests or any other Covid-19 tests that are not clearly marked PCR-RT. Another important detail to note- if you are traveling from South America you will need to present a Yellow Fever vaccination card. Foreigners will also need to pay a $10 fee upon entry to the country.
