Friend of the bride - Sola knew Gabby in med school but the two did not become friends until residency. Gabby is a human encyclopedia and knows everything (seriously!). They bonded over their humor and both being Gemini; Gabby also introduced Sola to anime.

Friend of the bride - Martins and Sola met in med school in Columbus. Their friendship developed slowly over the years, but took off after a month-long medical rotation in Zimbabwe with a group of other students.
