In 2015, on a fateful evening at Ole Miss, a freshman named Soibifaa walked into the Johnson Commons Cafeteria — completely unaware that a sophomore named Jomiloju had just spotted her… and would later say that was the moment he “knew.” (His words, not hers. 😊) To Soibifaa, they were simply becoming friends. Good friends. The kind who laugh easily, talk effortlessly, and somehow always end up in the same spaces. What she didn’t know? Jomiloju had quietly fallen — though he’ll humbly call it “just being attracted.” Life, as it often does, carried them in different directions for a while. Separate seasons. Separate rhythms.
