FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Sohne and Samuel Ketchmark
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We highly recommend arriving by 4:45pm to allow time for downtown traffic, valet, and getting to the rooftop! You’ll need to take two elevators to get it, so please plan accordingly. Attendants will be available to direct guests! Ceremony doors will close at 5:20pm so we can begin promptly at 5:30pm. Guests arriving after that time will be seated once the processional has finished!

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

We will have complimentary valet for guests who drive their own cars starting at 4:30pm! Please allocate enough time for valet and to get to the rooftop for the ceremony before doors close at 5:20pm. If you’re in the Dallas area, we highly recommend using ride shares to ensure for safe transportation!

Question

If I'm running late, can I self park?

Answer

Yes, you can! Self-parking is available at 505 N Ervay Street, Dallas, TX 75201. It is NOT the Ross Tower Visitor Garage. Use the garage immediately to the left, marked with a large “ENTRANCE” sign and a parking gate. This is the same garage valet will use! Please note: you’ll need to pay to park here, and the venue is located diagonally across from the garage. Since it takes time to park, walk over, and ride two elevators up to the rooftop, please plan accordingly before the doors close at 5:20pm!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will take place both indoors and outdoors! The ceremony will be held outdoors on the 6th floor of the rooftop. Afterwards the cocktail hour, Korean ceremony, and dinner will take place on the 3rd floor and in the courtroom. Once dinner is over, the dance party will move back outside to the rooftop. Guests are encouraged to join us up there and enjoy the night with the skyline in the background! If you’d prefer to mingle instead, there will be seating upstairs. The courtroom will also remain open for guests who prefer to stay indoors!

Question

Can I attend the korean ceremony?

Answer

Absolutely! Cocktail hour will be split into two parts: the first half for drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and mingling, and the second half when guests will be seated to watch the Korean ceremony (paebak). Hors d’oeuvres will continue to be passed during the ceremony, and the first course will be served shortly after it begins. Guests are welcome to get up and grab a drink at any time during the ceremony!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is Black Tie Preferred. We’d absolutely love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Gentlemen, please wear a tuxedo or feel free to opt for a dark suit and tie instead. Ladies, we kindly request floor-length evening gowns, dressy separates, or formal jumpsuits. Please please go all out, and don’t be afraid to wear bold colors (yes, wear that red dress!), prints, and most importantly whatever makes you feel the most beautiful! We ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, sneakers, or mini-length dresses, and kindly reserve whites and creams for the bride. We can’t wait to celebrate together in style!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we’ve chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only event outside of our families. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night out, and we’re so grateful for your understanding and support!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do not have an official room block due to there being several hotels in the downtown area! We have listed a variety of options under the "Travel" section and recommend booking as soon as possible.
