Things To Do

We are so excited to share with you a few of our favorite places in the DFW area!

Tyler Municipal Rose Gardens

420 Rose Park Dr., Tyler, TX 75702

You probably didn't know this, but Tyler is actually the Rose Capital of the U.S., and lucky for you, October is one of the two times a year that the over 500 species of roses in this 14-acre garden will be in full bloom!

State Fair of Texas

34 Cotton Bowl Circle, Dallas, TX 75210

If you're in town early and looking for something to do, the State Fair of Texas is an iconic Texas tradition that just so happens to be taking place in the weeks leading up to our wedding! If you have time, visit Big Tex, grab some funnel cake, and ride the permanent Ferris wheel at the largest state fair in the Country!

Collin Street Bakery - Lindale

17044 Interstate 20, Lindale, TX 75771
, (903) 882-9205

About 25 minutes outside of Tyler, you will find a world famous bakery with nearly any baked good your heart may desire. Fruitcake may not be your jam, but the crowning of achievement of Collin Street Bakery is making this Christmas tradition fit for the actual Queen of England.

Trinity Groves

Dallas, TX

The bridge overlooking the Dallas skyline is where Josiah proposed. The views are absolutely worth the trip out there!

Deep Ellum

Dallas, TX

If you're looking for a funkier side of Dallas, than Deep Ellum is the place for you! Between in awestriking street art, any and all food your taste buds could be craving, and cool views of the city, this is a don't miss spot while you're in town!

GEORGE | COFFEE + PROVISIONS

462 Houston Street, Coppell, TX 75019
, (469) 464-3107

This one is further out of Dallas proper, but if you're flying out of DFW and looking for some pre-flight caffeination, it's right on the way! Try the iced salted caramel latte, thank us later!

Thirsty Pines Tour

Travel through Longview, Tyler, Lindale, and surrounding areas savoring craft beer, wineries, liquor, coffee, and more along the way.
