When did you get married?

Answer

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, we had a small, beautiful, traditional Indian wedding on June 13th, 2020 in Shalini's backyard. We attempted to change our wedding date twice but ultimately made the decision to stick with our original wedding date. Now we are so excited to celebrate our joyous wedding and one year anniversary with our closest friends and family!

So this pandemic... will your wedding reception be safe?

Answer

Yes! Our first and foremost priority is for our friends and family to remain safe at our wedding. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, please visit this website often for the latest updates regarding our wedding. We will make sure to take every precaution necessary to keep our guests safe. We encourage all guests to please wear masks. We urge any individual who is feeling sick or has any signs/symptoms of a fever, sore throat, runny nose, body aches or fatigue to please remain at home in order to stop the spread of this virus. We also encourage all guests to get vaccinated if you have not yet received one.

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

If you would like to give us a gift, please see our wedding registry which includes "Our Adventure Fund" for a honeymoon! Our ideal trip is to visit Turks and Caicos and explore the islands. We will also have an envelope box available on the day of the wedding. Please no boxed gifts. Thank you for helping us start off our lives together!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Right on this website! Please go to the tab listed as "RSVP" and submit your RSVP's here. Please be sure to RSVP for each event separately and for every person in your party that will be attending. Due to Covid-19, we have had to decrease our guest count to accommodate the safety of our guests. Please RSVP for only the individuals listed on the official invitation. We encourage you to share your vaccination status for the safety of our guests.

We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). Please RSVP by Saturday, May 15th, 2021.

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have had to decrease our guest count for the safety of our guests. In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

As our guest count is very limited, we would appreciate only the invited guests on the formal invitation attend the wedding reception. If you are direct family to the bride and groom, please direct this question personally to either Shalini or Sohan. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire will be Indian Formal or Formal. The entire wedding reception is located outdoors so please bring a light jacket or shawl in case of inclement weather.

What is the temperature like this time of year?

Answer

Colorado can be... unpredictable. We are hoping for sunny skies and warm weather (cross your fingers). June tends to run warm but rain is always possible. The entire event is outdoors (but under a tent).

What's the deal with parking?

Answer

The parking lot in front of the venue will be able to accommodate all guests. We will have a golf cart shuttle available for the elderly or handicapped if the walking distance is too far for you.

Will there be vegetarian and Jain options?

Answer

Yes! Sohan's whole family is vegetarian so the entire wedding will have meat-less and meat options available for all guests to enjoy. Jain options will also be available for anyone that abstains from potatoes, carrots, garlic, and other root vegetables. Please be sure to comment on the "RSVP" section if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies.

Yes! On this website, please go to the "Travel" tab for details regarding booking a room with our Hotel Block. Please book your room no later than May 12, 2021 to secure the discounted rate.
