Instead of a room block we were able to get a discount code (WEDDING) that applies a 15-30% discount on best available price at time of booking. This hotel is located in the harbor in Dana Point and close to all shops and restaurants the recently remodeled and developed down town Dana Point. A car ride to Laguna Beach or San Clemente takes about 10 minutes, and a car ride down to the wedding venue is little over an hour. Visit the hotels website for more information.

House Or Rental
Airbnb offers plenty of opportunities for those who'd like to save money on housing, especially if you're a bigger group and can split the bill. Pre wedding festivities -look for housing in the Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Clemente or Laguna Niguel area. Keep in mind, a car is needed for easy transport all over Orange County. Unless you'd like to Uber everywhere which is fully possible, but not as price friendly. Wedding venue - look for housing in La Jolla. Keep the address for The Cuvier Club in mind.
Flight
LAX is more price friendly for traveling from out of the country. However, keep in mind that with traffic and distance, traveling to the Orange County area (and then off to La Jolla for the wedding is an additional hour) will take anything between 1-2 hours. Another important thing to note here is that if you want to Uber from the airport, there's a shuttle that will take you to an Uber lot, this shuttle takes 20-30 minutes. TIP. Car rental is a convenient way of transport as it gives you freedom from the moment you land, you'll only need to get to the Car Rental Center. Please see our recommended Car Rental Services, most of them offer a different drop off location if preferred.
Flight
This airport is closest to the wedding venue and a bit more traffic friendly compared to LAX. It will take about 1-1,5 hours to get to Orange County, and you can easily access Car Rental Services within the terminal and then there's a shuttle that'll take you to the car lot.

This airport is closest to the pre wedding festivities area and definitely the friendliest airport for domestic flights. If you don't mind an extra layover flying in from out of country, we highly recommend this airport as it is small and easy, and a lot more traffic friendly. You get in and out quickly, Uber is easy and you can easily rent a car within the airport as well.
