In 2023, Sofia and Michael decided to take their beloved dog, Bella, on a special vacation to see snow for the very first time. They left their sunny home in Miami and embarked on a two-week journey with high hopes of finding winter wonderlands. Their initial destination was North Carolina, but to their dismay, they quickly discovered that it didn't have real snow. Determined not to disappoint Bella, Sofia jumped into action, scouring social media and weather apps to locate the nearest snowstorm. To their surprise, they found one just six hours away in Cincinnati, Ohio. Without hesitation, they packed up and hit the road, traveling through three states to reach their snowy destination. When they finally arrived, Bella was thrilled to see her first snowflakes falling from the sky. But Sofia and Michael knew they could make this experience even more magical. The next morning, they set off to Cuyahoga National Park in Ohio for some snowy adventures. As they hiked through the pristine, snow-covered trails, Michael began acting a little strange. Sofia assumed he was just hungry and suggested they stop for a snack. To her astonishment, Michael suddenly dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. After an eye-roll of disbelief, Sofia’s heart melted as she realized this snowy trip was more than just Bella's first winter experience—it was the beginning of their next chapter together.
