If you ask Brent, he’d say it was love at first sight; if you ask me, I’d say it was because he constantly made me laugh in the middle of class... Either way, middle school English class was the very beginning of our love story! Brent made the first move by asking me on a movie date on Valentine’s Day in 2020 (I know—classic). After seven months of countless FaceTime calls and begging our parents to drive us across town just to see each other, we officially started dating on September 2, 2020! From that moment on, our lives were changed for the better, and our relationship continued to grow in the sweetest way. As the years have passed, our relationship has grown right alongside us, trading high school hallways for new cities, new goals, and new dreams we now get to chase together! We’ve learned how to support each other through both big and small decisions, as well as exciting milestones, all while celebrating the little victories in everyday life. Brent has always been my constant: the one person who makes every day brighter, who is also patient, kind, and endlessly supportive. On May 17, 2025, Brent planned the ultimate surprise and set up a beautiful picnic in a wildflower field, where we officially got engaged! Of course, I said “YES!” without hesitation! We are beyond excited to step into this next chapter and feel so blessed to have found each other so early in life. We wouldn’t be here without the love and support of our families and friends, and our faith in God. We can’t wait to celebrate our marriage with you—see you on January 8th!!!
