Travel Note

Welcome to Ecuador

Welcome to Ecuador! Ecuador is a small but incredibly diverse country in South America, bordered by Colombia to the north, Peru to the south and east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. It's known for its vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and rich biodiversity. From the towering Andes mountains and lush Amazon rainforest to the famous Galápagos Islands, Ecuador has something for everyone. The capital is Quito, while Guayaquil is the largest city. -Weather in June: Ecuador’s weather in June varies greatly depending on where you are: Andes Mountains (including Quito): Expect mild and cool temperatures between 10-20°C (50-68°F). This is the dry season, making it perfect for outdoor activities like hiking. -Language: Spanish is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas. -Currency: Ecuador uses the U.S. dollar as its official currency. -Altitude: Quito is located at 2,850 meters (9,350 feet) above sea level, so be mindful of altitude sickness. Drink plenty of water and take it easy at first. -Safety: Ecuador is generally safe for tourists, but as with any destination, stay aware of your surroundings, avoid displaying valuables, and follow local safety advice. -Transportation: Taxis, buses, and domestic flights are common. Always use trusted taxi services for peace of mind. We hope you enjoy exploring the beauty and culture of Ecuador as much as we do! We can't wait to celebrate our special day with you in this beautiful country.
