Nick and Nick have known each other since little league and wound up being in a lot of the same classes in school. Two sides of the same coin, they bonded over shared interests; video games, the theater, absolutely drilling a tennis ball against the side of a school. Nick Marini is a man who's not afraid to ask big questions, and struggle with the answers. He is forever loyal, creative and kind. He is, without question, the best man.

Tanya and Sofia have been friends since the second day of middle school when Tanya turned to her in the lunch line and asked, very directly, “Do you want to be friends?”. Thank God, Sofia said yes that day because she would not be the person she is today without her extremely smart, determined, ride or die friend. Tanya is not only the maid of honor, but she is also the Godmother of Sofia and Nick’s daughter, Madison.
Shane Bourgeois

It’s been twenty years since Shane and Nick roamed the corridors of South Junior High. Nick was inspired by Shane’s imagination and temerity. He always had a project be it building a remote controlled mini sub or a robotic arm or wiring an armchair to serve as an electrical command center for his “Hey, Arnold”-style bedroom. Twenty years of wild misadventures and laughing until it hurts. They are comrades of the highest order and Nick considers it an honor to have Shane by his side on this most auspicious occasion.
Rebecca Guarente Sullivan
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and Sofia met in high school gym class while they were hiding behind the bleachers trying to get out of playing tennis or running the mile. The rest is history. They have since graduated from sneaking out for a few drinks past curfew to now sneaking out for a few drinks while the dads watch the kids. Rebecca is also the very proud Godmother of Liam, Sofia and Nick’s son. Cheers to a forever friend to share all stages of life with.
Benson Langton
Groomsman
Nick and Benson are kindred spirits. They share a love of story in all of its forms, and have collaborated since Benson could walk and talk. Benson is understanding, passionate, and inventive; a valued member of the family and indispensable as a groomsman.
Lauren Fallon
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Sofia are two Bostonians who did not know each other before being assigned as roommates freshman year at UMaine-Orono. Sofia is so grateful everyday for that random roommate assignment, and for her friendship with her second longest roommate ever! Nick only just beat her for the title in 2021. Lauren has been Sofia’s voice of reason, private detective and drinking buddy for well over a decade and Sofia is so happy to have Lauren standing by her side while she says “I do!”
Geoff Langton

Born two years apart, Nick doesn't remember life without Geoff and couldn't imagine it. They have shared everything from bedrooms, to cars to, apartments. As boys they played together. As men they worked together. As brothers they dreamed together. They have lived, truly lived, together. Nick is proud to call Geoff a friend, a brother, and a groomsman.
Alex Capel
Bridesmaid
Alex and Sofia met at UMaine, later moved to Bar Harbor and years later after maybe three hours of planning, packed up all of their things and moved to Golden, CO together! In Colorado, Alex became a fantastic snowboarder and fell in love while Sofia fell into debt and almost fell off a mountain while skiing therefore realizing she belongs on the East Coast. Sofia cherishes all her great memories with Alex at UMaine and in Colorado, Bar Harbor, New York, Florida, Massachusetts, and of course the driving journey across the country eating gas station pizza. Even though they live 2000 miles apart they pick up exactly where they left off each and every time.
Joe Langton
Groomsman
Joe is Nicks’ older brother and, as such, his earliest role model. They have worked together, partied together, and lived together. Joe has always been a sounding board for Nick when discussing tools, vehicles, jobs and many other important decisions that are bound to arise in a young man’s life. He takes to the roles of leader and mentor with ease and has played an important role in the lives of Nick and all of the siblings. The wedding party simply would not feel complete without Joe, a pivotal member of any group he finds himself a part of.
Madison Langton
Flower Girl
Madison, with her golden curls and whimsical disposition, sings the song of her parents’ love. She is intelligent, kind, and has the ability to brighten the darkest of days. She is in and of herself a blessing and her parents are doubly blessed to call her both daughter and flower girl.
Liam Langton
Ring Bearer
Liam has a winning smile, enchanting blue eyes, and a heart full of laughter. Liam will carry the love of his family with him throughout his life, and for one day he will carry the symbol of his parents commitment for each other. He makes Nick and Sofia proud everyday and they are lucky to have a boy like Liam as a ring bearer.
