We're Getting married

Our journey began years ago on a sunny day, when fate led me, Nick, and my fiancée, Sofia, to cross paths on a friend’s boat. I had just shared an Instagram story, and little did I know that it would catch Sofia’s eye. When we picked her up at her house, the chemistry was instant. We spent that day laughing and enjoying the sunshine, but as life often does, time slipped by and we went our separate ways. Fast forward to year 2021, when destiny nudged us again. After years of friendship and missed opportunities, we finally decided to go on our first official date. It was an unforgettable night at a dive bar, cheering for the Panthers during a hockey game. The atmosphere was electric, and my heart raced with excitement and a bit of nerves. But as I learned that Sofia had been receiving messages from Sasha Barkov, the captain of the team, I almost backed out! How could I compete with a pro athlete? Yet something inside me knew I had to take the leap, and I’m so glad I did. As we sipped our drinks and shared stories, it became clear that our connection was something special. Week after week, our dates turned into adventures filled with laughter, late-night talks, and discovering the little things that made us fall in love. From spontaneous road trips to cozy nights at home, every moment deepened our bond. A unique thread woven into our story is my long-standing friendship with Sofia’s sister, Vally. For years, Vally and I have shared memories, and she holds a special place in my heart. My late mother, who passed away ten years ago, loved Vally dearly. I can only imagine the joy my mom would feel knowing that I’m marrying into such a wonderful family, and I know she would be over the moon about Sofia. As we stand here today, excited to embark on this new chapter together, I can’t help but reflect on how every twist and turn has led us to this moment. With Sofia by my side, I feel incredibly lucky to have found my partner in crime, my love, and my forever.
