Ours is a story about timing, a little luck, and just the right number of penguins. We first started talking online back in 2022. There was a spark, some great conversation—but life got busy. We didn’t know it then, but the universe was just putting us on pause. Fast forward to July 28, 2023. We matched again—on a completely different app—and instantly picked up where we left off. This time, we knew it was meant to be. So, we planned a date for August 2nd, and spent the evening playing mini golf, sharing dinner, and laughing like we’d known each other forever. (For the record, the mini golf competition was fierce, but the company was even better.) Just a couple weeks later, on August 17th, we officially became “us.” Since then, it’s been the kind of love that feels easy, warm, and meant to be. Everything fell into place in the best way. we explored new restaurants, went on road trips, got obsessed with random TV shows, and took multiple trips to different zoos! We spent holidays together, met each other's friends and families, and built a life full of shared routines, spontaneous adventures, and so much love. On June 2, 2025, he planned the most perfect surprise at the Shedd Aquarium. During a private penguin encounter (yes—real penguins!), he got down on one knee and asked the biggest question of our lives. Spoiler alert: She said Yes! Now, we can’t wait to celebrate that forever with all of you.
