What should I wear?

Answer

Come in your Sunday best! Suit and tie, button down and slacks, sun dresses, cocktail dresses, and ball gowns all welcome! With that said, also prepare for the weather as it will be a mostly outdoor affair. Sunglasses, sun hats, and parasols are welcome! Bellingham is typically cooler than Seattle, so do check the weather forecast to be sure. Also choose footwear that is practical for walking on grassy fields and gravel.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both will be at Camp Lutherwood on beautiful Lake Samish near Bellingham. From I-5 N coming from Seattle, take exit 242, turn left onto Nulle Road, then right onto E Lake Samish Drive. Turn left onto N Lake Samish Drive, cross the bridge onto Roy Road, and continue to Camp Lutherwood at the end of the road. 1185 Roy Rd, Bellingham, WA 98229

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is parking! However, it can be tight. Please carpool wherever possible. If you need a handicapped spot, just let us know and we'll reserve one for you!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your children, but seating is too tight for us to have all of them. If your children are not named on the invite, please plan to leave them at home. For those of you who don't have childcare, a camp counselor is available to play games with the kiddos onsite! We just ask that you bring a cash donation for them and also let us know so they can prepare activities.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We had to tighten up our guest list to stay on budget. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we regretfully prefer that it was just you.
