We were first just friends of friends and didn't think much of it. Then it all started at a music festival, where we both secretly had crushes on each other. A few weeks later we took a boat out for a friends birthday and it was evident we just clicked. A few days later Erik took me for a hike at Sunset Cliffs then dinner - this was the day we knew this was something special.

While on vacation in Kauai, Hawaii we attended a beautiful Luau. After dinner, we joined others on stage to learn their family Hula dance. It wasn't until the end of that dance until the host said he was going to pick two random people from the group to learn another dance, and selected us two. I was so nervous to be the only two dancing on stage! But then he handed the mic to Erik and Erik got down on one knee and proposed!
