Hermann Park
Third location Darien surprised me with on Our Engagement Day. A magical picnic next to the lake with ducks swimming, my favorite food sushi, best friend in tow, and the bliss of being newly engaged!
Museum of Natural Science
Darien and I have been here a couple times and I always loved the butterfly exhibit there. The story goes as this. Everytime we have visited the Museum of Natural Science, I always ask to go to the butterfly exhibit because its such a beautiful terrarium filled with luscious plants and butterflies! I have always wanted a Butterfly to land on me and everytime I have gone, none of them would. But on the day of my engagement, a butterfly landed on my shoulder. I was very happy.
Tiny Boxwood's
One of Sofia's favorite restaurants in Houston. A go to for any occasion. Darien has planned a couple birthday dinners here at tinyboxwoods and the food is delicious! Plus if you want, buy a plant on your way out, they have a plant shop at the restaurant! And their cookies are amazing.
Museum of Fine Arts
Our first ever official date (in 2018) was at the Museum of Fine Arts. A memory that I will hold dear to my heart. On top of it, it was Darien's Birthday and I got to celebrate with him for the first time in our relationship. We had so much fun exploring the arts and exhibits.
Bloofin
Sofia's Favorite Sushi Place Ever. Get the 'Toro Sushi Roll" and the "The Lion King Sushi Roll". (Darien and I both love sushi)
Killen's Barbecue
For traveling family and friends, if you want to try some amazing Texas BBQ, head over to Killen's. This quaint little restaurant was so cute inside and the food was spectacular! Some of the best BBQ we have ever had.
