It was love at first site (for him). We were just two teenage kids who never thought our paths were going to cross again. When they did, his charm is how I knew it was meant to be. Although, Brad looked at me for the first time in History class and somehow knew I was the one he wanted to marry. Thank god for that horrid History class for bringing me the man of my dreams.
It was the first full day our soldier was home on leave. He asked for a party with our family and closest friends. I asked him why and he said, "so we can be with everyone we love all at the same time." In my mind I'm thinking hmm okay. It was then my sister asked me to take picture with her at our "photobooth" we made (this was her attempt to get me to stand next to brad). As I looked up to smile for the picture with brad, I knew what was happening due to the 50 plus people looking at us. He FINALLY got the nerve to get down on one knee and asked me to marry him. All I could say was... nothing but YES. Also, I was secretly thinking ABOUT TIME, five years later and we finally get to start our life together!!
