Dear Friends & Family, These past few months haven't been easy for anyone. With a lot of discussion, we have decided to cancel the Spokane wedding and have a small elopement-destination wedding in Puerto Rico. This ceremony will only include our immediate family members and wedding party that wishes to attend. We will have a reception at Sofia's parents property after we come back and covid restrictions have lifted and allow us to have a large celebration. We want to include everyone and that means we will have to wait until it is safer. The reception will be more spread out and more people will be able attend this way. We have come to this decision largely due to Washington State's covid restrictions and people's safety. We are looking forward to celebrating with you and hope to provide a very safe environment for our guests joining us when the time comes. We will update you on the date of the reception once we have a clearer idea of when this large gathering will be possible. We want to include all of our friends and family in this celebaration and want it to be a safe and fun event. Thank you for your understanding and support during this time. We love you all and cannot wait to celebrate with you. We can't wait to see everyone! Love, Sofie and Taylor
Sofia's mom met Taylor first. Victoria met Taylor through his work and she thought he was just the cutest thing and couldn't wait for Sofia to meet him, yet there was a problem. Taylor had a girlfriend! Victoria waited patiently... for months... until one day when she asked, Taylor said he was finally single. Victoria didn't tell Sofia about this handsome man she met, she didn't tell Sofia they were destined for each other. No, she brought Sofia to Costco (her favorite place in the world) to soften her up and then brought her to Taylor's shop. When Sofia first saw Taylor she was absolutely taken by him, so much that she couldn't speak. They dated for several months and then both moved away. A year after their parting of ways Taylor decided to go to Coeur D'Alene (CDA) for a fun day on the beach, little did he know that this trip would change his life. Sofia had recently gone through a break up and was at albertson's picking up ice cream for a sad day on the couch watching rom-coms. When she was at the store she ran into some high school acquaintances, and they invited her to CDA lake. When Sofia arrived at the beach she saw someone who looked a lot like Taylor, her stomach dropped at the realization it was him. Sofia went over to say hello. Later that day they texted each other, worried about the previous interaction. Taylor asked Sofia out for coffee, she said yes. Three days later they had coffee at Rocket Bakery, and Victoria, the sneaky devil, asked Taylor over for dinner that night. When Taylor came over for dinner that night Sofia realized all the things she missed about him, Taylor had the same realization about Sofia. Taylor was the one who got away, Sofia was the one who got away. So they decided to never let go again.... Three years later on June 10th, 2020 Taylor proposed. And now we get to celebrate their soulmate strength love with the marriage of Sofia Desimone and Taylor Bomar.
