If you would like to bring a guest, we kindly ask that you carefully review your RSVP information. If your invite states that you may bring a guest, we wholeheartedly welcome them to share this special occasion with us. However, if there's no mention of bringing a guest, we would be truly grateful if you could honor our request and join us for the event as individuals. Your understanding and support mean the world to us!

We highly recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible, as we've heard that our wedding weekend coincides with a few other celebrations in the charming town of Malinalco. How do I get to Malinalco?

Answer

Getting to Malinalco is quite convenient, and we've outlined a few options for you: Private Drivers/Taxis: On our 'Stay & Travel' tab, you'll find contact numbers for private drivers and taxis who can transport you to Malinalco at a reasonable cost. They offer various car sizes, including options for groups of up to 16 people, so you can consider carpooling with friends if you wish. Rent a Car: Another option is to rent a car for your journey. This gives you the flexibility to explore the area at your own pace and convenience. Travel with a Friend: If you have friends or acquaintances based in Mexico City with access to a car, you might consider traveling together. The drive itself is relatively short, approximately 2 hours from the center of Mexico City. You can easily navigate the route using GPS apps like Google Maps or Waze, making the journey straightforward and enjoyable.

Yes! As you would elsewhere, wear your seatbelt, keep en eye on the road and look out for any holes or speed bumps The drive into Malinalco can be a bit scenic, with the potential traffic jam caused by idle cattle. However, it is a simple drive when following Waze or Google Maps.

What kind of weather conditions should I expect?

Fortunately, Mexico is incredibly pleasant all year round. In Mexico City, expect temperatures in the high 70s (F), 20s (C), but be prepared an evening chill, as temperatures can drop into the low 40s (F), 5 (C). In Malinalco, expect the temperature to be a bit warmer during the day time and colder at night!
