Two Towers - Due Torre degli Asinelli
One of Bologna's iconic symbols, the Two Towers are a group of towers from when medieval families tried to outcompete each other for power by seeing who could build the tallest tower in the city. These are the only ones that are available to climb and it boasts the BEST view of Bologna by far. Must buy tickets ahead of time, they will be sold out if you show up the day of and try to buy tickets. Get there early in the morning if you want to avoid the big crowds! Pizzeria Altero Bologna
The bride's mom used to eat here after school growing up; think pizza but on Focaccia bread, so it's about a million times better. Also a favorite of the bride and groom, who may or may not eat here daily when they visit Bologna. Perfect to grab on the go as a snack and walk around!
FICO World Eataly
Newly constructed Eataly (biggest in the world!) with lots of restaurant options and opportunities to shop for gourmet food items to take home - accessed by taxi or uber, about 20 mins outside city

Awesome deli where you can buy delicious things to take home, or to take back to the hotel! When the bride's dad was at the top of his professional baseball career in Italy, he was the VIP of this place--even had his picture up on the wall! There is also a restaurant located in the back, which is one of the favored places to eat at by the bride and groom.
