They met at Ogden Farm and Feed. Amanda was working as a cashier and he came in 3 times in 1 day. Even though he had come in a few times before and said nothing (he is a shy guy), on the last trip Amanda felt like she should look at the name on his card. After her shift, she looked him up on Facebook and he messaged her. He tried to ask around and find her too but was unsuccessful.

After spending most of 2017 together and talking about life moving forward, Ian purchased a special ring. He knew that rose gold was her favorite and they shared the same birthstone of amethyst. On the evening of the 23rd when exchanging Christmas presents, he surprised her with his unique ring and she said yes!
