When Brandon and Jordan first met, they were both interns for the Philadelphia Eagles. In the 15-desk ticket office, Brandon and Jordan were seated back-to-back to one another, spending every day sitting just two feet apart. The two formed a very playful relationship, one that mostly included Brandon pranking Jordan. The most memorable being when Brandon locked a pad lock to Jordan’s jacket for the weekend of her 21st birthday. Brandon was the first to realize this was more than a friendship, and his secret crush grew as the years went on. Even as Jordan slept through her call time and arrived late to the NFL Draft, or when she tripped and face planted behind the Eagles bench, Brandon knew he did not want Jordan to fall out of his life when the internship was complete. After three years of working together, life finally presented Brandon the opportunity to ask Jordan for a favor…

Brandon: “I need a favor from you on Thursday.” Jordan: “Okay what’s the favor?” Brandon: “I need you to tell me the closest bar to your apartment and then meet me there, just for like an hour.” After months of snapchatting, texting, and all other forms of back and forth communication, Jordan thought that Brandon may ask her out, and was SO excited when he finally did! The two bonded early about Marvel, sharing their favorite movies and country artists and slowly grew their relationship to spontaneous road trips and city outings. As the pandemic hit, they had to get creative about their adventures; they normalized car dates, drive-in movies and discovered their love for puzzles. After moving in together, adopting their most lovable puppy and dreaming about the future, they knew that they wanted to continue to adventure together forever.

Jordan provided Brandon with a very small wish list when it came to proposing. The ring had to be tall and sparkly, and Jordan wanted her nails to be done. Now, for anyone who knows Jordan, her nails are NEVER done. So, making sure they were done proved to be a tricky task without setting her off to suspicion. With the help of Jordan’s sister and brother, Brandon was able to make sure Jordan’s nails would be camera ready for when he popped the question. He worked out a date with immediate family, got Jordan out of the house, came up with a lame excuse as to why he would be gone all day, set up a florist to come create an archway and had everything teed up for a memorable January Saturday. Despite a weather scare, Brandon’s plan was starting to take place. There was only one small issue, Jordan was insistent on using her nail saloon gift card to get a PEDICURE! Despite her sister’s best efforts, Jordan arrived back at the house with the most gorgeous toe’s. But it did not matter, Brandon dropped to one knee, and SHE SAID YES! It was truly the best day ever….until June 2, 2023!
