Wait, aren't you guys already married?

Answer

We got legally married in 2019 with the intention of having our wedding in May 2020. Thea started graduate school in 2021 and we never had our big wedding celebration. So we're celebrating 10 years together with a wedding/vow renewal/party!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP no later than May 1, 2026.

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at Highlands Park in Ben Lomond.

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

We will not be booking a hotel room block for our wedding. We recommend looking into vacation rentals for your stay, as well as the hotels listed under the "travel" tab on our website.

What is the weather like in Santa Cruz?

Answer

In late June, Santa Cruz is typically in the 70-80’s. That said, it can sometimes drop into the 60’s during the day, and is typically in the 50-60’s at night. Our ceremony and reception will be in Ben Lomond, which can get into the high 80’s during the day and drop to the 60’s after sunset. The ceremony and reception will be outside on the lawn, as well as inside the house. Please dress accordingly. There are also chances of heavy fog. Bring layers and warm options in case the weather changes!

Will parking be available?

Yes! There is ample public parking.

Can I Lyft/Uber to the venue?

Answer

Yes. Depending on where you are staying, this will cost between $20-30 each way.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal. Since it will be outdoors on the lawn and indoors, we recommend bringing layers and avoiding stiletto heels.

What type of food will be served?

We will provide appetizers, a beer and wine bar, soft drinks, and Mediterranean food buffet for dinner.
