We met the modern way - on Hinge (even though we grew up about 25 minutes from each other). At the time Shannon was in PA school in Dayton, Ohio and Jimmy was in PTA school back in Maryland. By chance, Shannon happened to be home for a weekend after her first semester of PA school when we matched. What started as a simple connection quickly turned into hours of FaceTime calls, night after night, getting to know each other from miles apart. For two months, we built a bond through screens, until Jimmy made the 7 hour drive to finally meet Shannon in person. That first meeting confirmed what we had already felt - this was something real. From there, our long-distance connection turned into a real partnership. Supporting each other through grad school from a distance, weekend trips home, long drives to Dayton to now having a house & puppy together and planning our wedding, each stage of our relationship has been a joy and brought us to this day. Now we fit seemlessly into each other's lives - to meal prepping with each other on Sunday's, pushing each other at the gym, folding laundry together and finding the little joys in life through the routines we share. What began as a swipe online has become a life full of love, laughter and teamwork which we can't wait to carry into our marriage & future!

December 2021 - Jimmy & Shannon matched on Hinge while Shannon was back for winter break January 2022 - Jimmy DMed Shannon on Instagram Feburary 2022 - First Facetime took place while Shannon was in Ohio for PA school and Jimmy was in Maryland for PTA school March 2022 - Jimmy drove 7 hours to meet Shannon in person for the very first time & asked her to be his girlfriend the next day. June 2022 - We shared our first "I love yous" December 2022 - Jimmy graduated PTA school and shortly afterwards started his job with PIVOT in Damascus MD. December 2023 - Shannon graduated from PA school and began her job an an Orthopedic PA in Gettysburg PA. June 2024 - Jimmy asked Shannon's dad for her hand in marriage at Maryland Mallet October 2024 - Jimmy proposed to Shannon around all her & his family December 2024 - Jimmy & Shannon closed on their first home together in Westminster MD! June 2025 - Jimmy & Shannon got a puppy - sweet Nala girl May 2026 - We get married!
