On June 27th 2020 all they had planned for their first date was to get to know each other at a driving range in Philadelphia. Although they barely hit any balls straight, they had so much fun that they decided to extend their date and get lunch together. They went to Parks on Tap in Fairmount Park and enjoyed an outdoor meal. After lunch they still wanted to continue this date so they went for a long walk along the Schuylkill river and chatted for hours on a bench filled with trash. Before they knew it, it was dinner time! They both contemplated whether it was too much to extend this date a 3rd time, but they quickly decided it was not. The two went back into Philly to grab some sushi. They ate that while sitting by the river and watching some fireworks that Kevin did not arrange, though tells everyone that he did. This marathon of a first date eventually had to come to a close with Kevin having an early shift at work the following morning, and both were very sad to leave each other. What was originally planned to be a one hour date so easily became a 10 hour adventure that sparked a life-time of love between the two.
