FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Due to our wedding falling on a Friday, there may be traffic. Be prepared to park and walk several minutes. We will be starting on time as this is a traditional ceremony that will last ~an hour.

Question

Is there parking and/or transportation?

Answer

For the ceremony, there are plenty of street parking options - Pond, Auburn, Green, State, Harris, Pleasant, and Washington to name several. Green Street Parking lot (2 Unicorn St) and Newburyport Intermodal Parking Garage (2 Titcomb St) are both a 5-minute walk. Rideshares are always an option for people who don't want to worry about parking. For the reception, Willowdale has 65 parking spots. If you prefer to drive, we recommend carpooling. If we have a handful of cars left overnight, that is totally fine, please pick up before 11 am. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the open bar and schedule rideshares like Uber and Lyft in advance. We will provide transportation to and from Willowdale for those staying at the DoubleTree in Danvers. Shuttle departure time is 4:30 pm from the Atlantis Entrance. Shuttles back to the hotel will be at 10 and 11 pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black-tie optional- tux or dark suit with a tie, floor-length gown, or mid/tea length dress. We want our guests to feel inspired by the fall season, estate and garden ambiance! Cocktail hour will be inside the mansion, after, we will move outside into a sailcloth tent with heaters. We suggest bringing a sweater or pashmina to throw over the shoulders. Please check the weather in advance.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP before August 14th in the RSVP tab. We will assume you are unable to attend if we have not received a response by this date.
