Are children invited to the ceremony and reception

Answer

While we absolutely adore the little ones and wish we could include everyone, we are unfortunately very limited on space at our reception venue. We are not inviting children unless they are part of the wedding ceremony or listed on the invite.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Although we wish we could celebrate with everyone important in your lives as well, our venue only accommodates a certain number. On your invitation it will specify if a plus one is included. If you have any questions, please reach out to Simela or Dan.

When should I be there

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3 pm, so we recommend guests arrive between 2:30 - 2:45 pm.

Where is the ceremony location in comparison to the reception venue?

Answer

We will be getting married at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Hyannis. The reception is at Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich Port. It's approximately 30 minutes travel time between the two locations. Shuttle buses will be provided for guests who would like to leave their vehicles at the hotel. The ceremony and hotel locations are a 4 minute drive apart (~1.7 miles). More details to follow on shuttle bus timing and logistics to and from the reception venue. Free parking is available at the hotel for those who are staying overnight and also for those who just want to park for the day. Free parking is also available at the church and at our reception venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal or cocktail attire: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. There will be a mix of both and we want guests to look their best and also feel comfortable in what they are choosing to wear.

Are there any colors that I should avoid wearing?

Answer

No, any and all colors are welcome. Whatever you feel most comfortable in is fine!

Will the cocktail hour and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The cocktail hour is a combination of both indoor and outdoor space on the venue's beautiful roof deck overlooking the ocean so we will plan to use both spaces (weather permitting). The reception is indoors.

Are there any plans for the day after?

Answer

Yes, we are hosting a morning after brunch at our hotel from 9 - 11 am for those who are opting to take the day, or morning, off from work. Our wedding ceremony and reception dinner will take place on Sunday, September 29th. If you will be in town earlier or later, we warmly welcome you to join any and all activities that fit your schedule. See the "Schedule" tab for more details.
