Tyler and I met in 2016 working at Coastal Flats. I just got hired and he was my "coach" the second day of training. A few weeks later, we went on our first date and we haven't stopped going on dates since. Between the music shows, snowboarding trips, vacations, Capitals games, Hot Girl Walks with Sage.. we both knew it was only a matter of time.

What was perceived to be a normal vacation with friends was actually an orchestrated plan to ask my best friend to spend forever with me. The day of the proposal, everything was chaotic to say the least. Everything from forgetting my wallet at the house to the rainy weather all day, and not to mention the red tide along the beach. Given the obstacles, I managed to pull off the perfect way to pop the question. Being at the beach together, completely in love and surround by friends, made for one of the happiest days our lives.
