Shannon is Kristen's little sister and soon to be Russell's sister-in-law. She is excited to welcome him into the family! She enjoys doing theatre, watching movies, playing video games and coloring. She can't wait to be by her sister's side on her big day! 1) She recently accomplished her life's goal of achieving a fist bump buddy in Valorant- a rare in-game accessory that can only be given to a player by a Riot employee. 2) She and her sister call each other Steve. 3) Trying to think of fun facts about herself kept her up at night.
Nate Burnside

Nate and Russ have known each other since 1st grade, and been best friends since 6th. It all started with talking about Halo 3, and the bromance has continued since then. He is probably one of the few people involved in this wedding that didn’t graduate from Central. Him and Kristen became good friends shortly after her and Russ started dating, loves them both dearly and is so thrilled for two of his best friends to get married! 1) Spent two weeks in Uganda, and got blisters on his hands from chopping down a tree with a machete 2) When they worked at the golf course together, he launched Russ out of a golf cart at a high speed 3) Loves live music and frequents concerts often 4) Also has an intense bromance with Russ’ brother-in-law, Brad.

Alyssa has been lucky to call Kristen a lifelong friend– for around 15 years now! She’s also a Central alumni, where she lived with Kristen their sophomore year and got to know friendly Russell who lived just down the hall from them. She’s so excited to celebrate two wonderful people who are truly meant to be– and also maybe sneak onto the Wayside dance floor wearing maroon one more time. 1) Alyssa started her graphic designer career at the school news paper “CM Life” during college 2) She accidentally gave Kristen a corneal abrasion on the sideline of a high school football game they were cheering at 3) She has 2 dogs with people names (Oliver & Gerry)

Nick and Russ have been life long friends since 2014 since they had a government class together. It all started with “do you wanna form a group?” The rest was history. Nick is happy to say that Russell is a life long. Though going to different colleges and moving, they still remained friends. Nick and Russ went on several trips together including hiking in the Smokey mountains. Nick is beyond excited to celebrate Kristen and Russell’s wedding. Fun facts about Nick: 1) Nick is finishing his masters in data science and analytics 2) Russ to this day can’t beat Nick in super smash bros 3) Nick has a twin sister that will also be at the wedding

Julia is Kristen’s cousin. She has thought of Kristen like a little sister ever since she was born, and they grew up talking about being in each other’s weddings. Julia is so excited that Kristen has found her perfect match in Russell and that that time has finally come! She cannot wait to celebrate their love with all of you! 1) Julia hates line dances, but will be jamming to any and every Taylor Swift song that plays 2) She once accidentally got Kristen in trouble because she drank a “potion” that they were making outside. 3) Her goal is to read 100 books this year.

Steve has been friends with Russell and Kristen since he them both met almost 10 years ago, when he and Russell were freshmen at Central. Since then, they have hiked national parks, moved across the country only to end up within a few hours of each other, Russell was the best man at Steve’s wedding, and he and Kristen set up the gender reveal for Steve’s son, Henry. Steve can’t wait to celebrate two of his best friends’ journey as husband and wife in Mount Pleasant this fall! Fun facts: 1) Steve has flown an F-16 Viper fighter jet. Twice. 2) Steve is a proud dad to his son Henry, and his two cats Chip and Buffy 3) Steve and Russell played tennis against each other in high school before they even met!

Hello, I'm Abby!! I first met Russ in 2019 when I joined a Dungeons and Dragons campaign with my fiancé. In the midst of our shared adventures, Russ introduced the group to his future wife, Kristen, a wonderful person with infectious energy. Our friendship grew beyond the game, with shared interests and enjoyable moments. I'm grateful for the chance to witness their journey together. Jackie is Russell’s older sister and soon to be sister to Kristen. She’s also a Central Michigan Alumni with the lovebirds! Jackie can’t wait for October to celebrate the newlyweds here in Mt. Pleasant where their love all began and to go get fizzy lifters at the Bird after the wedding! If you know, you know. Cheers to the Snows! 1) Mama to Russell and Kristen’s nephew, Aiden, and has another baby on the way. 2) Does not enjoy fruit. 3) Lost (and swallowed) a front tooth after Russell kicked her in the face as a kid.
